Craig Ogilvie
Snowboard / Ski / Guide
Craig has been with Hokkaido Vibe since the very first season and is a true expert in deep powder and fresh tracks. His journey began in 1992 when he first arrived in Niseko—long before it became a global powder destination. What was meant to be a one-season adventure turned into a lifelong passion for Niseko and Craig is still here, sharing his knowledge and skills with guests from around the world.
Before settling in Niseko, Craig spent over 10 winters working in Australia and Canada as a ski instructor, race coach, and ski patroller. Craig holds a BA in Sports Studies from Canberra University and has a wealth of experience from his time at the Australian Institute of Sport.
Craig’s experience includes guiding, teaching, and filming with top brands like Burton, Adventurescope, and Winterstick. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills or venture into the backcountry, Craig’s expertise ensures you’re in safe hands. His calm and confident approach, along with his deep knowledge of Niseko and surrounding areas, make him the perfect guide for any snow adventure. Craig’s friendly, safety-first vibe will help you get the most out of your mountain experience.
