Snowsports School / Group Training Programmes:
Our training programmes are designed to support snowsports schools throughout the entire winter season. Sessions are booked in advance at the start of the season, giving schools a clear framework and schedule. Training is then delivered at key points during the winter, ensuring instructors stay motivated, skilled, and consistent from opening day through to the final week.

📍 Where We Train
Instructor trainning for individuals
Training Venues: These generally start in Grand Hirafu and take advantage of the diverse terrain on offer across Niseko United’s four resorts. Our programs take advantage of the variety of terrain on offer – utilising beginner-friendly slopes to challenging off-piste areas – giving instructors a comprehensive teaching environment experience.
Instructor training for Snowsports Teams
Training Locations: When providing training for snowsports schools we are able to provide this here in Niseko United and further afield. Offering training options for schools based across Hokkaido and Honshu. Previous training has taken place in Rusutsu, Furano, Nozawa Onsen and Yuzawa Onsen.
Training provided outside of Niseko and Rusutsu often requires additional logistics and costs including and not limited to travel, accommodation, lift passes etc.
🏔️ Training Group Sizes & Session Types
All our training is delivered in small groups to ensure personalised attention and skill development. Group sizes are optimised for effective learning and safety:
● Single-Day Training – Maximum 8 participants
● Multi-Day Programs – Maximum 8 participants
● Evening Sessions – Up to 8 participants
● Private Training – 1-on-1 or small groups available on request
Minimum registration of trainees: For training workshops there will normally be a minimum registration requirement of trainees. We endeavour to run each workshop and will communicate with those registered if there are not sufficient trainees registered and what alternative options are available.
Our experienced instructor trainers have final discretion on group sizes based on conditions, participant skill levels, and training objectives.
🧭 Training Standards & Equipment
Professional snowsports instruction demands the highest standards of safety, technique, and knowledge. All Hokkaido Vibe instructor trainers hold current international certifications and have extensive teaching and training experience in Japanese resort environments.
All participants must have appropriate equipment (skis/board, boots, bindings, goggles, helmet). We can advise on ideal equipment options if needed. Be aware that for evening sessions, appropriate clothing and eyewear is essential.
Please disclose any physical limitations or medical conditions that might affect training participation. Our programs are designed to be challenging but safe, and we adapt training intensity to individual capabilities.
Professional instruction is serious business. Come prepared to learn, improve, and develop the skills that will make you an exceptional snowsports instructor.
