Payment Terms Options:

All payments must be made directly to the business account of your associated Hokkaido Vibe member (supplier). Please refer to the provided payment details.

Your booking will be considered confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. To ensure your booking is secured without any inconvenience, we strongly recommend making the payment as soon as possible.

Terms and Conditions – Waiver of Liability

By confirming you’re booking with Hokkaido Vibe and the associated members, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. We kindly request that you carefully review and understand the following terms and conditions before proceeding.

Participating in snow sports activities indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, we kindly request that you refrain from registering for or participating in any snow sports activities.

The snow sport activity you intend to participate in takes place in a hazardous environment and carries a risk of injury. It is conducted in locations that are far from medical facilities and is subject to environmental conditions. Please be aware that activities may be cancelled or modified without prior notice at the discretion of a Hokkaido Vibe member. It is your responsibility to have appropriate insurance coverage, including but not limited to coverage for snow sports activities, medical expenses resulting from injuries sustained during such activities, and personal liability for any harm caused to others due to your negligence. You must also ensure your insurance covers accidents or injuries while skiing, including in “off-piste” areas. Neither Hokkaido Vibe nor its members can be held liable for any physical, mental, or financial damages incurred due to your negligence or the negligence of a third party. In the event that a member advises or deems it necessary, you must seek immediate medical attention. Additionally, you are required to comply with the instructions provided by Hokkaido Vibe members at all times. Failure to comply may result in termination of your participation in the snow sport activity. If a member deems your behaviour during the activity to be dangerous or inappropriate, it may result in immediate termination of your further participation.

Please be aware that any photographs or videos taken of you during your participation in snow sports activities remain the property of Hokkaido Vibe and may be used for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested. All rates are subject to change without prior notice.

The responsibility lies with the person(s) making the booking/payment to inform all other participants about the booking conditions and general information.

All services provided by Hokkaido Vibe are subject to availability.

Lift passes are mandatory and are not included in the lesson or tour price.

Travelling in a Hokkaido Vibe Member’s Personal Vehicle

Hokkaido Vibe members do not charge for transportation, and this service may be offered and provided free of charge by your associated Hokkaido Vibe member. When travelling in a Hokkaido Vibe member’s vehicle, it is the member’s personal insurance that covers the vehicle and any associated costs in case of incidents. Hokkaido Vibe is not responsible or liable for any claims made regarding transportation in a Hokkaido Vibe member’s vehicle. We strongly recommend that all guests visiting Japan have adequate insurance to cover any eventualities while travelling in Japan.

Cancellation by the Customer

If you decide to cancel your participation in the scheduled snow sport activity, please notify us as soon as possible.
If you cancel your snow sports activity, No refunds can be issued unless your Hokkaido Vibe member can find a replacement booking for the same date(s)
In the case where a replacement booking is found, You will be refunded in full minus a 15% administration fee
In the case where a partial replacement booking is found, only a corresponding partial refund will be provided minus a 15% admin fee.
If you cancel 120 days before the start date of your activity, a full refund can be offered minus a 15% admin fee.
To cancel your booking, please contact your Hokkaido Vibe member at your earliest convenience.

Modification by the Customer

If you decide to modify your booking, please inform your Hokkaido Vibe member.
A ¥5,000 administration fee may apply to any booking modifications.
Please note that modifications requested with less than 120 days’ notice may not be permitted, and no refund will be offered.

Failure to Attend and Late Attendance

If you fail to attend your scheduled snow sport activity, it will be considered as a cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice.
If you arrive 30 minutes late for your scheduled snow sport activity, it will be classified as a no-show.
No compensation or refunds will be provided in such cases.

Cancellation by Your Hokkaido Vibe Member

No compensation will be offered for cancellations beyond our control.
The operation of all snow sports activities is subject to the environmental conditions at the scheduled time. If an activity is cancelled due to environmental conditions, chair lift failure, chair lift “wind hold,” or any other factors beyond our control, we will make every effort to either reschedule the activity at a convenient time or offer alternative activities, such as indoor rock climbing or cultural tours.

If rescheduling or offering alternatives is not feasible, a credit voucher will be issued for the remaining time in your scheduled snow sport activity, valid for one year from the date of issue. Credit vouchers are subject to availability, transferable, and must be surrendered upon redemption.

Refunds will not be provided if you fail to follow the instructions of your Hokkaido Vibe member or if your behaviour during the snow sport activity is deemed dangerous, resulting in the termination of your participation.

All refunds, if applicable, will be issued in cash only.
